Everything is working like a charm with the image module and up until recently(past couple days) I have been able to edit and delete galleries but after doing updates etc... trying to get the perfect gallery I lost that ability. I honestly have no idea when it happened because I had created my galleries before updates and installing other modules.

I'm hoping someone else has run into this issue and has figured it out. I know for a fact it is not the current version I'm using because it was like that before I updated to 5.x-2.x-dev. 5.x-2.0-alpha3 was the last version I used and alpha2 before that.

What happens is I click "edit gallery" for which ever gallery and I end up back at the admin list of galleries(same page in other words.)

It could be a path issue because I created url aliases for all galleries but I tried deleting a few aliases and it didn't change anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, unfortunately this request is way too specific. Please have a look at the issue queue - Image maintainers are buried already. You might want to try to get further support at http://drupal.org/support. Additionally, the answer to your question might be covered in the handbooks at http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/image already.
If you were able to solve this issue on your own in the meantime, you might want to add the involved steps to this closed issue, so other users searching for a similar solution might find it.
