Issue Summary
Hi,
Its not obvious from the module listing on http://drupal/project/link_node but I just wanted to know if I change my site URL, will the links will still work?
This may seem like a stupid question but I want to know basically, if the filter is always RUN before the content is displayed or run once before the content is saved to the database?

I believe the filter runs at display time, not submit time.
