Issue Summary
If something happens to the timestamp of an archived mp3 and the import doesn't get the time right, and therefor assigns it to the wrong program and playlist, it would be nice if there were some way to manually connect that archive node to a playlist. or vice versa, whichever makes more sense. how hard would this be?

A related feature would be the ability to take any imported or uploaded audio file and designate it as an archive of a certain show. If something goes wrong with the auto-streamripping but there's a locally archived file, this could be very useful.

it's been a while since i worked on it but you should look at the 2.x version. i think it'll let you do exactly that.

hmm, i just upgraded to that and i still don't see a way to make an arbitrary audio node be an archive of a show.
all this crosslinking seems like a really obvious feature. if someone is looking at a playlist of a certain past show, wouldnt they want to click over to an archive of that same show? seems like a no-brainer. or am i not getting something? hmm.

I'd need to pull up the code to be sure but I just pulled up an audio node on a site with the archive on it and there's a "Station Archive" field set. One of the options is to add the audio to the archive, the other is to select which program to associate with. I think it could use some documentation to make it clearer but I believe it uses the node creation date as the initial association.

ah! cooll! i see it now! thanks.
but what about associating the archive with a playlist? with a link showing up on the playlist to the associated archive? that would be very cool.
I guess what I'm talking about is a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/92433 - which is 2 years old! if that was never actually done and incorporated I'm kind of amazed, since it seems like such an obvious thing to want. is there any chance of this being added soon?
i'm not up enough on how drupal works to do it myself without way more learning curve time than i have at this point.

that's really a separate feature because there's no association between them right now.
