Issue with Tiny MCE and background color

I have added a couple of new content pieces to my website, when I preview them they look fine, but when I submit them , the background color becomes pink. I have attempted several methods to clear it up including, entering everything as text, saving it and then adding the html formatting via Tiny MCE.

I have used each of the different input formats and all of them create a pink background ( I want it to be clear or white.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

This sounds to me like the pages you are submitting are not in the published status. By default, if a node is not published it will have a pink tinted background. This is just a notification for admins. Try going to administer -> content. The nodes at the top are the most recent and probably have a unpublished status.

Well, that's embarrassing... I thought I was a bit more advanced than that.
