Not at the moment. D6 (both Birthdays and Content Profile) need to be out of beta, before I do that.

I'd like to see this done as well as it would save some complications from using date, and computed field to do this via CCK methods.

Won't happen for D6 unless someone volunteers to co-maintain it or writes a patch. Birthdays should work with http://drupal.org/project/profile2 in D7.
