Which is the best media player module

I am using drupal 6.x and want to embed the video player in my site. Can anyone of you could tell which one is the best media player module for playing video in the site. I tried Dash media player but it seems that it works only in drupal-5.x.

The "best" is not necessarily the one you need. What are you trying to do? Embed third party videos? Or upload your own? Did you check the media module section of downloads?

I have found Dash media player -seems to works with 5.x as there is some problem with 6.x, flash video-not working as i want, Imediasee Premium Player- works with 3rd party, media player and some more but unable to locate the module which can used to play my own video files on my drupal website.

u could use flashvideo module too..

right... and the needing ffmpeg is the dealbreaker for so many - most popular hosting providers don't have it and won't install it for you either. It's really a pain to use this module without it too - causes ridiculous problems. There is not reason why it should be required, but in practice, it is. Argh. It's great otherwise.
