I'm a little confused about the upgrade to the latest working version of the Image module. It gives you an Admin panel warning about 2 things:

a) it warns you that it's not using ImageMagick. Mine is still set to using GD libs which works fine... that is weird for it to have a warning staring at you when it's installed okay.. are there some huge benefits to starting to use ImageMagick?
b) this one is a huge one - it tells you you have to move the ImageMagick include file to the includes folder

What's the thinking here?

Same question about the requirement to put image.imagemagick.inc in a Drupal core directory. It's not practical for updates.
