The project's pages writes: "If you are using the latest version of Views (RC3, or RC2) then you'll have to use the 'dev' version of the Flag module. Our 'beta4' doesn't work with Views' RC3, or RC2."

The current Views module is RC4.

I'd like to use a "stable" combination of the two (no dev versions), but I can't find any suggestions regarding compatibility. What versions do match?

Use the latest RC of Views (any version RC2 or higher), and the development version of flag. There is not yet an official release of Flag that is compatible with RC2 and higher of Views.

I actually think the "dev" versions, of both projects, are more stable than the "official" ones.

During the development of this module at least four bugs were discovered in Views, and fixed. The lastest is this, and if you use a so called "stable" release of Views, you won't enjoy the fix.
