Issue Summary
The version number was committed to CVS in the DRUPAL-5 branch (and the latest stable release). This information is added by the drupal.org packaging script and should not be committed to CVS since it breaks update status. Attached patch removes this - it's a straightforward issue and patch, so I am heading straight for RTBC.
