Hi, I have the feeling that what I'm trying to do is simple enough but I can't get the right combination of things using Views:
Hot Post 1
- Latest Comment 1 on Hot Post 1
- Latest Comment 2 on Hot Post 1
- Latest Comment 3 on Hot Post 1
- ...
Hot Post 2
- Latest Comment 1 on Hot Post 2
- Latest Comment 2 on Hot Post 2
- Latest Comment 3 on Hot Post 2

Whether this is a view or just a regular block doesn't matter; I will be putting it in a panel.
For now I will settle for the definition of "hot" just being "posts younger than 2 weeks with > 3 comments", but ideally I'd like to be able to assign a value based on some combination of age and activity, ie a 6 month-old post with 300 comments will be as valuable as a 2 day-old post with 4 comments.
