This is a task for myself to create an installation text file to clarify the installation process. I will also create a short document for the README.TXT just because I feel some desire to do it. These documents will apply to both 6.x and 5.x branches.

How's this coming? I've been wanting to use this module for awhile, but it hasn't worked. I think I did something wrong during the installation, but can't figure out what it was.

Likewise, I've installed the module, and updated my ping.fm developer's key, but don't know what the custom URL should look like to set up over at ping.fm so when I post at ping.fm it creates a blog (or microblog) entry at my drupal site. Some documentation on how to finish using the module is BADLY needed.

I am very excited about using this module to update Twitter with new pages (and updates if possible). However, I have no idea how to set it up correctly. I think I entered the appropriate keys, and tried adding content, and nothing happens. What do I do next? If any docs are available, no matter what condition they are in, it would be greatly appreciated. I would even be happy to contribute and or write them if I can figure out how to get it working myself. Thanks....

It should tell you what custom URL to provide if you edit your user account. Also make sure you're using a fresh 6.x-1.x-dev too as a new version of it splits some of the functionality up into a new "Ping.fm Node" module, which will create nodes when the Custom URL is queried.

Hey, gang!

Part of the issue on this ticket is I broke my CVS installation and got it working just this past week. I will be posting some documentation (not that the current documentation is bad, it still works) very soon.

If anyone writes up a paragraph or two, I'd be more then happy to commit it in ;-) .
