SMS Solution question. Pleeeease I need help

Hello, your royal geeknesses!!!
I'm a newbie to drupal and I decided to use it as it was sugested to me the best open source option to solving an SMS application question I am having.
I have spent time studying the SMS Gateway module and the SMS Framework module which are supposed to give Drupal great SMS functionality.
However, I seem not to be able to move beyond the mere basics, hence I need some helpful pointers from you gurus.
What I need to do is simple. In conjunction with Clickatell as my gateway, I need mobile phone users in a particular locality to sms in their biodata to a short code number (provided by Clickatell, of course) which then forwards it to my drupal installation and drupal should be able to process the information and store in a prepared database. On success, it should then issue a response to the mobile phone user.

Now, I installed the SMS Gateway, and was able to configure my Clickatell account to work with it. It connects ok but then, how do I get other modules in drupal to work with SMS Gateway to send and receive data (I could not find any documentation to that). I'd appreciate all the help and pointers i can get. If push comes to shove, I am willing to pay for tutelage.

Thanks.

Sending messages should be

Sending messages should be easy now since the system is now able via clickatell to support all international numbers.

For receiving you can configure the sms_receive function. There are some patches on the clickatell module for receiving information which i put up last week. That will allow you receive the messages in the system.

http://drupal.org/node/315036 is the patch that was created for this. It should do what you are looking for in receiving the messages.
