This updated brings with it a number of feature changes, bug fixes, and changes. In updated to the newest release of FFPC you will have to rebuild your podcast views. The new process for building a view is to create a new feed, Add a podcast style, and set the Row type to Podcast Episode. With this change there are a number of new features. For example, you can select how the description on the node should display (full text, teaser, etc.).
The following issues were fixed in this release:
- #314983: Fixed the link pointing to the file instead of the node.
- #315920: Fixed "page Not Found" error page printing after the feed.
- #315320: Added missing podcast elements iTunes store seems to require.
- #316154: Updated to work with Views RC4. Now uses Views and PHPtemples way of doing things.
Note: The Style plugin is only needed because the core RSS style does not allow additional elements (e.g., itunes:onwer) to be added to the feed.
