How/where can i change the format to disaply as: 10/04/2008 ?

I've already checked there, and none of the formats (short, med or long) are configured that way; they are all already configured the way I want: month/day/year.. the date format in the forum does not match any of the formates configured in my date-admin page.

I pointed you there because that's where it's set in the current code. I didn't notice you're still on the old version. It was hardcoded back then. I fixed it a couple months ago.
