I have searched a bit on http://drupalmodules.com/ for a module that suits my need but I don't feel I found one.
I am thinking about to set up a local marketplace on a website. Anyone could sell and buy anything.
So after the user is registred and login the he is able to add text about what he want to sell/buy. He is able to add photos.
Is this possible with Drupal ? Is there an example of a site like this built with Drupal ?

yes it's possible. if you
yes it's possible. if you wish to incorporate the actual purchase of items you'll probably want to check out one of the available ecommerce module suits (http://drupal.org/project/ubercart and http://drupal.org/project/ecommerce). If not, you can check out the one of the classified type modules or roll your own with custom content types and views.

Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for the reply. I just want to keep it simple and running. Things like payment is an issue between seller and buyer.

marketplace module
My project, marketplace, is designed to support complementary currencies. It consists of two modules.
The first provides two content types called offers and wants. Users just add offers and wants, and there is a directory, like the yellow pages.
The second module allows one user to transact with another. it provides a payment form and tabs on the user profile to track balances and payments.
The demo site is here. http://marketplace.matslats.net
This is not a shop, this is designed for specific closed trading systems. There is no connection between the offers/wants in the directory, and the things paid for. Id you want that, then you should go for the ecommerce modules mentioned above.
i hadn't seen this module--
