started the complete rewrite. The modules will now not work at all anymore. Sharing it anyway, in case others want to peek at the code written so far. * upload.module.old contains the old module (I need it for reference) * upload.module is now an API only module * Attachment.module is a work-inprogress module, that will act as simple files-to nodes attachements. in the mean time, keep visting <a href="http://www.webschuur.com/node/246">My files wiki</a> and its children pages I update the mockups, the API reference and all that on a regular basis.

Drupal has a core uplaod module wich is quite good. Quite, yet far from perfect. The revisioning ssytem and patching queue for getting new featuers and ides in Drupal is not only frustrating, but often far too time consuming and too hard to get anything decent done. Therefore I decided to fork this module, yet keep it in sync with the core module as much as possible. then one day, we can say: hey look, betterupload is far better then the core one, why not replace it. Instead of discussing hours and hours in issues we can finally /do/ something. But most of all, we can now prove something before putting it in core.
