Best Podcast Module for Drupal 5.10

For audio podcasts, I would recommend the audio module; for video podcasts, the video module. They are both rock solid, at least in my experience.

Having said that, there are a number of options open to you -- using CCK to create your own content type, for example. I stumbled across this article some time ago and remembered it when I read your post above; it might be helpful to you.
