Description

While using views 2 and adding filters I continue to get this error message thrown up in Firefox. It gives an option to stop the script or continue. I have to select "continue" twice to get the new filters added:

Unresponsive Script

myinstall/jquery_update/replace/jquery.min.js?8:25

I am not sure if this is a views problem or jquery update. I have searched both your issues and have not found any related issues. Any help would be great, I am at a loss.

it's due to slow PC and/or javascript code not optimized
realize that Views UI has a huge control panel which is not intended to be used by regular website visitors/members, instead it's intended to administrators which would be better doing this in a modern PC
if pressing continue two times gets you to a happy end it's not a bug, since the script finalizes it's job
rather it's an optimization request

On the pages that are giving you this problem can you list the scripts included in those pages? If you switch to packed as the type of compression does the problem go away?

I switched to packed and it seems to be working much, much better. I'll just set firefox not to show the warning again. Thanks so much!

@mrfelton are you using jquery_update? Are you still having this problem? If you are using jquery_update what happens if you disable it?
