I am not sure if this is a module or a site problem. But if you write an issue and attach a file then when you press the preview button the file path disappears. So the attachment will not load up unless you browse and enter the path again.

Kind of annoying. Maybe the attachment should be saved for after the preview? or something.

I'm having this same problem with apache2/php5 on solaris 10 with drupal 4.6.3.

It seems that previewed files are not persisted across page views. I checked CVS, but there seem to be so many changes the upload.module that I wasn't able to figure out if this had been fixed.

Apparently a similar bug was fixed early last year: http://drupal.org/node/5865

Project: Drupal.org site moderators » Drupal core
Version: » 4.6.3
Component: web site » upload.module

Switching this to a problem with the codebase, not just the website.

I think this is a php5 issue, especially 5.0.5.

Still a problem?

To old and to quiet...

Anyway I could not reproduce this problem, in PHP5, when working with normal nodes and comments.
