Today one of my users had the brilliant idea to put slashes into a node title: 'This is a test/test/test'. To my surprise, Pathauto currently does not offer the possibility to remove slashes in titles. Since I use node titles in my patterns, it'd be great if one could remove slashes from titles so that weird paths like 'this_is_a_test/test/test' do not happen.

I believe this is a duplicate of #195323: Add the (foward) slash to the list of character settings.

Sorry, I searched the issue queue for version 6 and couldn't find anything, didn't think to look in the drupal 5 queue.
