Not sure if this is the appropriate section to ask, but still. Is there some way to upload a PDF to a node and create some "embedded" version of it, in a flash sideshow like Issuu does?

iPaper is the closet I've seen so far (http://drupal.org/project/ipaper).

Not the best solution yet, cuz all your documents will have to be uploaded to www.scribd.com (as stated by the description of the module).

It'll be great if someone could work this module out =O

True...although it seems you can upload them to scribd via drupal (ie. by attaching them to a node like normal)...right?

This does look pretty interesting. I may have to sign up at scribd and do a little testing.

The iPaper module has seen many improvements, and I encourage you all to check it out. the documents go to scribd, but you can choose to do private publishing, which only lets people view them on your site.

I would love this plugin... Is there an open-source script to do this in general? If so, it shouldn't be hard to incorporate that into a module, right?

You could always use PDF2SWF.
