Hi,

Im using the ubercart module for drupal 6.x.

I would like to know how i can give a user a dollar balance to which product costs can be deducted from(if possible).

Here is a module to start with: http://drupal.org/project/userpoints_ubercart I don't think this will provide all the features you need, but it is a good place to start.
