Hi,

I tried to create a textfield inside a group (using CCK), then activated this module.

There are two problems I notice:
1. When I set the textfield to be 1 row only, the countdown message did not show.

2. When I changed the textfield to behave as a textarea (containing more than 1 row), it didn't work at all (the countdown message did not show, the max characters were not restricted either)

I use drupal 5.10, PHP 5.2.4, MYSQL 4.1.14 and apache 1.3.29

This version of Maxlength is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.

Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
