When one searches for a term, the tree should open at the position of the selected term. this would make it much easier to grasp the context of that term and not only the specific term data.

Yes, this would be a very important feature but hard to implement, definitely difficult with the D5 version, maybe a bit easier with D6.
Maybe someone wants to start with a patch ? ;)
