I've created an image ad, it's active and I've assigned it to an owner and given the owner permissions to access statistics, click history, manage active ad and status. But when I log in as the owner, I can't see where I should be managing my ad. No navigation menu items appear. In my User account section, there's a link statistics, but when I click on it, I get the message "Sorry, there is no information here".
Can anyone help? Is there any documentation on assigning owners? i've read the txt files in the documentation folder but can't find any info on this.
Thanks very much.

freatida commentedChanged the title and changing status from support request to bug report as I can't find a solution.

Lowell commentedTry setting a menu item for the Ad menu link which should be
http:// www.yourdomain.com/admin/content/ad
or just type it in the url to test

freatida commentedThanks for your reply. I get an access denied page when I do as you suggested. I'm quite sure the permissions are configured as needed though. Have you found any solution to your problem?

Lowell commentedno answer, But unlike yours, my owner can view the ad list and their ad nodes, but when they try to edit we get the Access denied message.
I have their ads in a group, and I have given full permissions for all types (image ads, html ads, text ads) on the admin/content/ad pages
I have also given full permissions to the user role that my owners have in the user access pages (maybe this is where you need to check) admin/user/access

jeremy commentedI will be revisiting the permissions system soon, and will review this bug at that time. Assigning to myself.
jeremy commentedThe permissions system has been heavily rewritten, and is now in an external ad_permission module. Please retest with the latest devel tarball, or wait for 1.7 and try again. Re-open if this is still an issue for you -- I can't duplicate with the new code.
