I installed and enabled File Framework recently. Now I find that attachments created before I installed this module no longer appear in the respective nodes. The files are still there in the files/ directory. Is there a way to have this module recognize the attachments that existed when it was installed?

The fileframework is a replacement for the core upload module, therefore it does not recognize attachments uploaded via upload module. If somebody would write an upgrade script which would store already attached files to the bitcache and convert existing attachments mappings, I would gladly include it into the fileframework.

Maybe I will write it myself, but it is not on top priority list right now.

So by this time, i mean while there is no script for that, what do you suggest to do, any method to have all of that at the new location and correctly linked?
