Hello everybody:
We are a charity and would like to honor our donors, by randomly selecting a name from DB and displaying it on a block with a male or female silhouette icon. We use 5.x but planning to migrate to 6.x. Any suggestion including code snippets will be welcomed.

you should be able to do this with a block view, setting the number of items to return to '1', then selecting the random sort order.
