I'm surprised there are no access control permissions to choose what roles can VIEW the minutes. Meetings are usually private but there is no way of making the posted minutes private...

pukku commentedIf a module has been installed to make an event unviewable by someone, that same module should allow control of the minutes.

mdowsett commentedthe event is viewable - and that is desireable (ie, a public meeting encouraging new members to join) but what is discussed at that meeting is privy only to members.
This is why I thought there should be separate access control for viewing minutes. I think it'd be a nice option...make minutes public or private...even if it is set per set of minutes
Comment #3
pukku commentedAccess control should be handled by a dedicated access control module. Blanket permissions to view or not view minutes will rarely be the correct granularity — different events might have different groups that should be restricted. If you install an access control module (at my site, we would use Organizational Infrastructure, which we wrote), you can restrict the minutes separately from the event.
