Description

We're considering building our online courses in Drupal starting in 2009, but we're already using D6. Any plans to update these modules to D6 in the coming months?

What's JIU stand for? Is it http://jonesinternational.edu/ ? Just curious, like to know who out there's getting into the stuff we're working on :).

As for the modules... the ELMS installation profile I don't know if I'll upgrade to D6 only because it's mostly to let people know it exists and what's in our "stack" of modules that we run locally. Search and Replace, HTML Export, and FLIR have all been upgraded to D6 already. The Outline Designer (the core "ELMS" module) I will be working on starting next week. Don't worry though, EVERYTHING that we do will be maintained and upgraded. We're all Drupal (currently 5) so we'll be upgrading to 6 I hope within the next year. I need to get all our modules upgraded first before we can think of moving that direction so you'll see them all out on d.o. long before we actually upgrade to Drupal 6.

Thanks Bryan! That sounds great. Yes, I'm with Jones international University (http://jiu.edu). Yes, I think the Outline Designer will definitely be an exciting release to see. We're starting out in Drupal 6, but I don't think we're going to get to the point of changing our course building process for a number of months yet, so hopefully the timing will work out so that we can make use of the Outline Designer for our instructional designers as well. Thanks!
