Help! Looking for a 4 column them with fluid with, anything available

Keizer - October 8, 2008 - 21:54

I find fluid with themes with 3 columns, 3 3 column themes, but fixed with, tapestry... newswire, the only theme fluid with 4 columns seems to be channel nine. Is there anything else?

you do realize you can take the channel nine theme since it has the four columns you want and then style the site the way you want by altering the css file?

do you need 4 columns everywhere?

you could also take a fluid 3 column (there are many) and use panels and clever block placement to simulate four columns on areas of certain pages....this is what most drupal news sites do for home pages and major content pages before you drill into categories and articles - it's very hard to read an article between 3 other columns, even if it's fluid width - just a thought

Good advice Zilla. I think every one wants to create that 4 column look but only want it displayed on the home page.

if just ONE node, then check out composite layout module

the composite layout module is a new d6 module that is perfect for 'panels' style manipulation of just one node at a time - works well, just not perfect for my own needs right now...
