I have a node that's getting a ton of comments. That's good. But the comments are starting to go in circles, and the whole thing is going sour. That's bad. I'd like to leave the existing comments there, but stop any new ones from being added. Is there a way to do this without deleting the existing ones?

Edit the node and set the Comment settings to Read only.
