That's a Fantastico Question, but to my knowledge there is no direct upgrade path from 4.7 to 6.4. You would need to upgrade to Drupal 5 and from there upgrade to Drupal 6.
One thing to keep in mind, as Fantastico is just a script running, it has no logic and can't know anything inherently specific to your drupal configuration. With that in mind I would recommend doing the upgrade yourself. Information on how this is done (for both Drupal 5 and 6) can be found at http://drupal.org/upgrade/
I tried the upgrade because Fantastico said it would work..... It didn't now lost everything... (have backup of 4.7.4 but am not a wizard by any means.
