just an idea ~if you consider,
in addition to [changing every X seconds]
[changing on X taxonomy term] with detection of current terms of a site as dropdown selection on the module settings]
would be a nice feature too

cheers

I'm not sure I understand this request properly. How does taxonomy terms relate to the frequency that the banner rotates? Or are you suggesting that banner items could be selected based on taxonomy terms that have been assigned to them? That's kind of a nice idea, then you could categorize your banners...

Hi mrfelton, its just an idea rather than 'a request' :)
basically an option of 'sets' of banners rotor frequency -sets are per taxonomy term'
categorisation could be with 'sets' that the module provides

example if the site
taxonomy terms for fruit citrus

image sets could be images that the site builder to upload -up to him/her
a_mandarin.jpg - an_orange.jpg - a_lemon.jpg

taxonomy terms for berries
example image sets to 'rotor'
a_cranberry.jpg - an_blueberry.jpg - raspberry.jpg

the module just provides options for sets

just to improve the module one step up, otherwise this kind of feature not so essential

hope makes sense
~cheers

This is now possible with Rotor2, where the rotation is powered by a Views plugin and is very flexible, allowing you to create as many Rotor blocks as you like and cinfigure each one independently. The full power of views is availble to you to sort and filter your Rotor Items.

Please see this thread for more information on Rotor2.
