I have just updated a few of my sites to D6 and Views2. I went through the process of converting Views1 views to Views2. While not the best, it does most of the trivial legwork, so kudos for adding it to Views2.
So on to my question. Is it safe to delete views that have been converted to Views2? I have upgraded all my views and want to know if deleting them would cause any problems.
Thanks.

bsherwood commentedOh. I should also mention that I mean deleting them from 'admin/build/views/tools/convert' not from 'admin/build/views/delete/view-name'.
Just thought I would clarify that.

karens commentedThat will delete the old views table info, which you won't need any more once things are converted, so it should be quite safe to do. Although it's probably not a bad idea to make a backup before you start deleting the old ones, just in case you find you need that old view info for some reason.

bsherwood commentedThe views that I created were pretty simplistic, so recreating them would take a few minutes a piece. I was more concerned with deleting the new views if I deleted the old ones. I wasn't sure if Views2 used the same tables as Views1.
I also run automatic backups on everything, everyday. I just like to keep my databases nice and tidy as well.
Thanks for the help.
