I just finished rewriting location_search.module from scratch to fix many outstanding issues and provide a better base for going forward.

Hopefully everyone will find it at least as capable as the old one.

This is a meta issue to mark duplicates against, as well as to discuss the new code.

I'm looking for exactly what is described here: http://drupal.org/node/181209. I want the ability to search city name and zip code in the same box- attached to a proximity filter. (I'm posting here because I think that's what your aiming for- all conversations in one place?) How would I go about doing that?

Hello bdragon,

I have noticed you made some changes within the api of the 6.x-3.x-dev version. I notice a new function location_nearby_postalcodes_bylocation() this function describes exactly what I need (and it seems many that are posting here need); however... It doesn't exist which is contrary to what contrib/location_search/API.txt says... What can we do to get this function available?
