How to use Payment module in drupal site ?

Hi,

I am new to drupal development and want to implement Payment module into my application.
I tried with PayPal Modules (Subscription) but payPal framework is not configured with drupal 5.x site.
and also paypal subscription module is not supporting.

Please advice appropriate payment module which can support to my application
