I read "Endless loop with translation" and maybe there is a connection to my problem.

I use for everything the newest version of today. Core is 6.5. If I activate the module, nothing works anymore. I even can't login with a direct path. I have to delete the files at the hoster to get drupal work again.

Try version 6.x-1.x-dev. In comment here is written that in dev version it is fixed: http://drupal.org/node/216271#comment-1012739

Thanks, it seems to work at first sight. I couldn't test different redirections till now.
