Is there a way to change the marker displayed for a particular node location based on the age of the node.

I would like to have nodes from the past 7 days one color, past 14 days another, and past 30+ another.

ideas?

could i do this using a cck computed field perhaps... I know I can change markers based on taxonomy, so possibly tie the taxonomy to the created date?
