I add popup, as described, after patching (though see other bug regarding rejected forward patch) -- it asks me all the questions, where to put it, etc. I hit save, nothing. The list still says it doesn't exist.

Did you upgrade from a previous version of Share (Pre alpha-4, I believe)? If so, you need to uninstall the previous version completely, before installing the newer version.

Yes, as of alpha-4, the database schema has changed. For cleanest Share, be sure to uninstall fully then reinstall.
