Welcome to the team! I know you have a specific project in mind but if you are looking for any other fun tasks to work on we have a handbook page for Documentation team simple tasks. ;-) Other than doing the tasks there, we also need feedback/edits on that page itself. We want it to be a good resource for new doc team members to get started.

You may also want to turn on the "Documentation team links" block for handy links. You can do that at My Account > Edit, under the Block configuration section.
