Hi,
I tried this module and I like it very much!
But, as it is now, it is practically unusable, since some texts are displayed just in English... So, can you do it so that absolutely all texts used (I believe it is inside of SWF file) are editable (be careful here about handling of "vote" changing, which can be quite complex...) - by admin interface or, even more simple, through Drupal localization support (this is probably better in terms of "vote" handling...). I believe this is necessary to make it useful on all non-English pages...
Another question / feature request / idea:
Make it possible to use arbitrary self-created image, not only a star. It would be great if images could be adjusted with the general sense of web site...
I hope I am not asking too much (at least for the 1st part...)?!

I'll see what I can do. I don't know how Drupal localization works, but I guess it's time to figure it out. I may not get this done too soon, but you can expect some improvements by the time Drupal 4.7 is released.

It should not be too big problem to include at least other few texts included in the admin section - as a temporary solution, or? For the future, it would be great to have a general aproach (drupal localization), of course.
I understand I can not ask you to spend too much time on that, and will appreciate any move in this direction you will make. Thank you in advance.

Just wondering about the status of the request. I'm building a site in Dutch where I would very much like to use this module. I see that it is possible now change most of the texts via the settings. The only exceptions are the texts for the average votes, as they seem to be hardcoded in the swf file. Is it possible to make these texts editable too?
I would be willing to spend some time on it myself, but I'm no flash progammer (yet). I'm also pretty new to Drupal, but eager to learn! Maybe someone can give me a hint where and how to start working on this...

Here's a patch that adds fields to the config screen where you can change the three untranslated strings "saving", "average" and "votes".
Flash files to follow.

Here's the .fla file. It's been opened in Flash 8 Professional, then resaved as Flash MX2004, hence the file size increase.

And the compiled .swf

Thanks for making this possible, Very useful for all of us building non-English sites!
