This is a sort of weird. I just reinstalled smiley module on my site and I see this happened. Instead shows up only when ASCII smiley is written, the smileys set shows up everywhere -- even on paragraphs where no ASCII smiley actually exists.

It only went normal if I turn off the smileys filter. Please help... thank you. :)

Nope, they're just normal :) , ;) , :D , and such... Actually nothing looks weird when I use the packaged smilies (the one that came up within the module), but the problem appears when I use custom smilies which I have added by myself...

Can you paste it's exported .pak data? (use smileys import module).
