There's a module that I quite like called subdomain http://www.drupal.org/project/subdomain

I have a problem though, when I activate it, i lose the ability to disable, enable or uninstall modules. In order to turn off subdomain, I have to go in through the DB's system table.

It's the strangest thing. When the module is activated. If I try to enable a module (click its box, click submit) the page refreshes, its tabs disappear (very weird) and the module isn't enabled.

Beyond the obvious, what sort of things could cause these symptoms? Javascript? Something interfering with the form api?

I've done all the turn stuff off/backtrack and still the problem persists. I need to look deeper.

What could be causing this?
