hi, firstly i would like to say sorry if this had been asked before. but i could not find anything that is relevant.

i'd installed the latest dev version of webmail_plus to my latest Drupal 6. either i logged in as an administrator or normal user's account, i will receive some error messages.

e.g.
Unknown function _api_mailboxes was called.
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home//www/www/drupal/sites/all/modules/webmail/webmail_plus.view_folder.inc on line 57.

ok. now i need to find a solution to solve my problem, but before that, i would like to know, is this 'webmail_plus' is really what i am looking for?

what i am looking for is a webmail solutions for me to provide each individual registered members an email account. just like Gossamer Mail, Roundcube, etc.

if this is not it, is there anything out there that has got what i need?

thanks in advance. really appreciate it.

This issue is addressed, I'm doing final testing and soon will be releasing a much more mature version of Mail API as well as Webmail Plus. Please be patient.

hi there,
thanks so much for the reply. but could you also tell me is your software is really what i am looking for? that is to provide all my registered users to have their own new email account. that is, once they registered, a new email account will be created for them.. username@domain.com

Webmail Plus gives all users of the site a webmail client to use, as noted on the project homepage:

Webmail Plus is a full-featured email client for Drupal. It's designed to provide email for any or all members of a Drupal site. It relies on a standard IMAP (Dovecot, Courier-IMAP) server for mail storage and localhost or SMTP (Postfix, Exim) server for mail delivery. It's a great way to add email/webmail functionality to your Drupal community site.

You would also need to make sure you have an IMAP server set up to handle the mailboxes themselves. There is a documentation page being built which should help answer some questions and solve some problems you might run into.

Does that help answer your questions about the functionality?

hi guys, thanks for all the help.

actually, i just wanted to know whether will this module create and give a new email account automatically to any user once they register an account in drupal.

the documentation does not really mention any of this. i am still having a problem making it work until today even though i'd already installed it with the most updated version.

so, i just need to know the solutions i am looking for is what i really want.

cheers.
