Issue Summary
Hi,
After choosing "Modify Fields" in the content management page, I have the normal tabs for Display Fields, Manage Fields, and Edit, but no "Add Field" tab---instead, the Add field portion is incorporated below the existing fields section. Is this new, or normal behavior I'm not aware of? (I remember it being quite different on other sites).
In the past, Add Fields was a tab, leading to an add field page. This is a new drupal 6.5 test site, I'm using cck 2.0-rc10. I did first install and enable CCK without other cck add-ons, but alas didn't check on this Modify Fields window until I had gone ahead and added some extras (file field, contemplate, image field, numbers, date, user reference, content profile) so I'm not sure if one broke that screen--but if I disable all those extra modules, the behavior is still the same--no Add Field tab. I have run update.php.
I'm attaching a screen grab to illustrate what I see in Garland.
Is this some known phenomenon (I checked, but haven't seen anything similar in support archives).
Maybe I'm missing some module that is needed for that screen, or using some module that messes it up? Or perhaps I'm just confused and this is a normal change in the GUI?
Thanks so much for any info on this!
-Daniel

Right there is your screenshot you can see 'Add field' and 'Add group', this is the new UI for adding fields and groups.
Previously it was a multi-step process -- 1) Click on 'Add field', 2) Select a field type, 3) Select a widget, 4) Configure the field settings, 5) Return to Manage fields page and drag the field to where it belongs.
Now it is much easier -- 1) Drag the 'Add new field' form to the place where you want the new field, and select a field and widget all in one step, 2) Configure the field settings, 3) Return to Manage fields and you're done.
