Hi,
i have a similar question. I'm currently using the biblio module 6.x beta8 which is not supported anymore by the latest version of drupal.
But i'm still hoping it will work soon. Thus, i'm also looking forward to hearing from you annoncing you'll port the biblio facet module to Drupal 6x.

At this point, I don't think I will port Biblio Facets to Drupal 6 unless Biblio makes a major turn to provide tight integration with CCK and Views. See #234891: Views and CCK integration. As it stands, Biblio no longer fits with most of my projects, unfortunately.
Views support seems to be on the way, but I'll still badly need bibliographic data to be stored as CCK fields.
