I am new to using this module, so I am probably doing something wrong, but I cannot figure it out

I have a garage sale content type that i want my users to set a publish and unpublish date.

- The module is installed and enabled
- I turned publish immediately off for the content type
- I created a new garage sale node and entered the publish and unpublish dates as follows (current date = 10/13)

10-18-2008 12:00 AM
10-25-2008 12:00 AM

- saved the node

I went to a different machine,logged on as a different user and saw the node published.

What am I doing wrong?

I am having the same issue. I think this is a critical priority since this functionality encompasses why this module was created. I emptied cache, deleted cookies, used different browser... the node still is published even when "Published" is unchecked under Publishing Options!

Could you be please elaborate this a bit (drupal version, database used, other contributed modules installed, server OS). I can not reproduce the behaviour.
