Hi,
Great module, I am just testing the latest 6.x-1.2
When working on a content form (new story, new blog etc) the module works exactly as expected with the "Submit" button. However, it doesn't work with the Preview button. If I preview I get the traditional (default) behaviour, the page reloads then displays the error.
I would expect that Preview should work the same way, though maybe this is a design decision?
I have tried cleaning the cache, disabling Javascript aggregation and these had no effect.
Drupal Version 6.5
Module Version 6.x-1.2
Please let me know if I can provide more information.

brendoncrawford commentedtjharman,
Thanks for the feedback. I don't yet have a solid solution for how to best implement this, but I have been thinking it through. Just out of curiosity, are you using thickbox?
tjharman commentedI'm not using Thickbox, no. I was just testing out this module to see what it was like, I noticed this issue and I thought I should make you aware of it.
Cheers,
Tim

brendoncrawford commentedHere is the problem. If the page is using a thickbox, I could assume that the preview should be shown in the thickbox. If there is no thickbox, however, there is no place that I could really display the preview. Of course I could assume that it should create a new thickbox, but that assumption might no agree with all situations.
I will leave this bug open for suggestions. Any feedback is appreciated.

brendoncrawford commentedWell, I can't really fix this until I get some feedback on it. I don't really have a great solution for it. If I don't get any suggestions on this in the next week, I am going to close this bug.

tjharman commentedHi,
Sorry, I'm in no way technically minded when it comes to this sort of thing. I know enough to install modules and hack at the database a little, but I don't really understand your comment #3. I'm sure it makes sense, don't get me wrong, it just doesn't to me!
To my simple mind, I don't see why clicking on preview for a story doesn't behave exactly as clicking on submit, as they both behave the same way if ajax forms isn't active (i.e. reload the page and throw up a large red error before the submit story form)
I guess this logic doesn't hold true for other forms though?
Anyway, I'll stop guessing about things I don't understand, I hope someone else chimes in with something helpful.
Cheers,
Tim

brendoncrawford commentedStill thinking about this. I will keep you posted.

brendoncrawford commentedAjax Forms now works with Content Preview. Please note that it only works on node forms. Other forms such as Comments will not show Previews in Ajax. Please allow up to 12 hours for 6.x-1.x-dev package to update.
