I'd consider most of acquia_marina self-explanatory, but it's worth noting that it has more options than usual in the theme configuration page (admin/build/themes/settings/acquia_marina) and a user should really spend some time there to get the most out of the theme.

It works out of the box, but improves if you take the time to configure it.

For a very user-friendly README file, I would suggest providing the specs for creating more icon graphics for blocks (48x48 pixels, .png files with transparency) and the CSS needed to add in extra icons. I've not been able to get icons to appear exactly the same, even with Firebug; I'm clearly not providing some crucial bit of CSS yet.

(I feel certain the question will come up again from other users, and while it might seem overly simplistic to provide such info, fallible sysadmin types such as myself appreciate a good cheat sheet every now and then!)
