Had Drupal "night job" since v4.7. My day job is an e-publishing project manager at an academic/ESL press-- relevant because I think I can add editorial experience into the mix.

I'd like to join the doc team and begin by copyediting pages to help add clarity etc.. My time waxes and wanes, but I could probably give close to 2 hours a week for a start. I hope to do more, but want to be realistic. Feel free to throw "rough draft, please edit" type stuff to me.

Awesome. Welcome to the team! One way I can think to get a list of "please edit" kinds of things is to look in the Documentation queue for issues marked "Patch (code needs review)." Not all will be editorial review but that would be the closest flag that we have currently.

If you are looking for specific tasks to work on we have a handbook page for Documentation team simple tasks. (Other than doing the tasks there, we also need feedback/edits on that page itself. We want it to be a good resource for new doc team members to get started.)
